Conkright named OCS Chief Education Officer; Miller named Principal of K-3 Campus

Tracy Conkright (left) has been named Chief Education Officer of Owensboro Catholic Schools, while Kristin Miller has been named principal of the OCS K-3 Campus. 

Tracy Conkright has been named Chief Education Officer of Owensboro Catholic Schools, while Kristin Miller has been named principal of the OCS K-3 Campus. 

Conkright is currently principal of the 4-6 Campus, a position she has held for 25 years. Her new role will be a resource of support for the schools’ educational efforts to fulfill the mission and ministry of Catholic Schools. Conkright has over 30 years experience in the education field. 

“I feel blessed that God has called me to this position,” Conkright said. “The Owensboro Catholic Schools system holds a special place in my heart. Over the last 25 years, I have grown to respect and admire so many faculty, staff, parents, and students within our school system. I am excited to work with the principals and teachers in our schools to carry out our educational mission.” 

Miller has 10 years with the Owensboro Catholic School system, and she currently serves as the Differentiated Learning Specialist at the K-3 Campus. 

“I am very grateful and honored to have the opportunity to serve as principal of the K-3 Campus. The K-3 is such a special school, full of much joy and enthusiasm for learning,” she said. “I look forward to continuing to support our outstanding teachers and staff in their roles as we nurture our young students’ growth in faith and academics. I am humbled by the tremendous support that I have received from our staff and parents, and I am excited to continue the mission of Catholic education at OCS.”
