Impact 100, NextGen awards grants; Neblett Center, WKRBC receive $100K each

Impact 100 Owensboro and Impact 100 Next Generation announced their annual grant winners Thursday night during their yearly meeting. The two biggest grants from Impact 100 totaled $100,000 each, with one awarded to the H.L. Neblett Community Center and the other to Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center. 

Dream Riders of Kentucky, Inc. received a $26,000 residual grant through Impact 100, and Puzzle Pieces received a $10,800 Impact 100 Next Generation grant. 

Together, Impact 100 Owensboro and Impact 100 Next Generation raised $238,800 this year, all of which went toward local nonprofits. Over 15 years, the organization has raised $3,350,000 that has been put back into the Owensboro-Daviess County community.
