Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Truck of Elizabethtown is returning to Owensboro Monday for a fundraiser to benefit local nonprofit Friends of Sinners.

The pretzel truck will be stationed at 2645 Frederica Street (in front of Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Auntie Anne’s truck made its first stop in Owensboro last month — also a fundraiser for FOS — bringing in more than $700.

Sam Hardesty — who co-owns the truck with her husband — previously said they take pride in working with nonprofits to help raise funds. In their first year, they’ve already donated roughly $35,000 to nonprofits across Kentucky and southern Indiana.

Friends of Sinners is a Christ-centered residential substance recovery program whose mission statement is “focusing on the restoration and reconciliation of men and women to Christ through biblical truths, accountability, and life skills. Through this, we are transforming individuals into positive contributors to society.”
