The Theatre Workshop of Owensboro will raffle off a 1941 Chevrolet two-door sedan this fall that recently appraised for $27,000. Craftily titled the Back TWO the Future Raffle, the fundraiser will support the many live theatre initiatives in Owensboro.
Sales commence Friday, with the drawing slated for Oct. 2 during the last downtown cruise-in of classic cars. Tickets are available for $100 and while there is no limit on how many individuals can purchase, there are only a total of 1,000 available.
“This Chevy Super Deluxe is a real head-turner,” said TWO executive director Todd Reynolds. “Step inside and you’ve entered a time machine. The Flying Lady will make any trip a treat, no matter how short.”
