Pappy raffle tickets on sale, winner gets 6 bottles; proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish and CHAMP Camp

Bourbon lovers have a chance to win a collection of six rare bottles from the Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery, with the proceeds benefiting a pair of organizations that “help make the impossible possible” for children with critical illnesses and/or tracheostomies. 

Proceeds from the raffle will allow CHAMP Camp to build a wheelchair-accessible treehouse for campers to enjoy, and help Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana grant more life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Many children who have been granted wishes have also experienced CHAMP Camp. 

Tickets are on sale now here for “The Great Bourbon Raffle.” Tickets are $100 each, and there is no limit to how many tickets may be purchased by a single individual. However, only 4,000 tickets will be sold, more than half have already been purchased. A winner will be announced on June 16 at 11 a.m. CST.

Due to Kentucky state law, the bottles cannot be shipped and must be picked up at the Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana Louisville Office located at 1230 Liberty Bank Lane, Suite 300, Louisville, KY, 40222. Purchasing a raffle ticket is a non-tax deductible donation.

Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana (OKI) has granted nearly 19,000 wishes. In Fiscal Year 2021, they granted the largest number of wishes in the country. To learn more about how you can donate,

CHAMP Camp is a registered 501(c)(3) organization that provides a summer camp experience at  Bradford Woods near Martinsville, Indiana, for children and adolescents with tracheostomies and those who require technological respiratory assistance. Campers enjoy and fully participate in outdoor summer camp activities including swimming, canoeing, climbing, and zip-lining that  encourage independence, confidence, and self-esteem to create memories that last a lifetime.
