Owensboro, KY – HPC Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky is excited to be hosting the “Kisses for Kindness” fundraiser. HPC staff submitted Valentine’s themed photos of their pets for the community to vote on Facebook. You can vote by viewing the pet photos on HPC’s Facebook page and then donating on Venmo or PayPal. $1 equals 1 vote. You can vote as many times as you like for your favorite pets!
Voting opened on Valentine’s Day and runs until Friday, March 1st. On Saturday, March 2nd, the pet with the most votes will be crowned the winner! There will also be a “kissing booth” set up at the Heartford House (2914 Old Hartford Road, Owensboro, KY 42303) with HPC’s grief therapy dog Tucker and Llarry the llama! Crowes Nest food truck and Sugarbutt Sweets will be there, as well as WVJS Radio!
“It has been so fun to see all of the pet photos and tallying up the votes so far!” says HPC’s Marketing Coordinator, Hannah Cecil. “This is a great way to raise money for our patients and families, plus who doesn’t love seeing a llama in person!”
