RiverValley Behavioral Health has been honored with two Best Practices Awards from the Mental Health Corporation of America (MHCA). The awards were presented at the MHCA conference this past week in Clearwater, Florida.

The two Best Practices Awards were for Best Practices in Emergency Services and Best Practices in Drug and Alcohol Outpatient Care. These awards are given annually to organizations with the best results in the nation on the MHCA Customer Satisfaction Survey.

RiverValley’s President and CEO, Dr. Wanda Figueroa, highlights the importance of providing quality care rooted on evidence-based principles and empathy when helping individuals and families affected by substance misuse or experiencing a mental health crisis.
