Cape Air has slightly altered their schedule for flights to and from the Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport (OWB), though only the times are affected and not the number of daily trips to and from Nashville and St. Louis.

The changes were effective Feb. 1, according to OWB Airport Director Tristan Durbin. The moves were largely made to allow for more traffic to and from Nashville.

The only changes to weekday flights include pushing back the first flight from Nashville (BNA) to Owensboro as well as the only flight from OWB to St. Louis (STL).

For Saturdays and Sundays, there are changes to the morning flights each way between OWB and BNA, as well as the flight from OWB to STL.

The full daily schedule can be seen below. Flights that are affected by the new schedule are bolded.

“This offers a more advantageous schedule for the traveling public,” Durbin said. “We’ll get a lot more exposure in Nashville with these times. Instead of sitting in St. Louis for about 3 or 3.5 hours, (Cape Air) will be spending a little more time in Nashville waiting for incoming flights earlier in the mornings. I think we’ll see more travelers being able to connect on the flight from Nashville to Owensboro earlier in the day. It allows more time for aircraft to get into Nashville rather than a quick 30-minute turnaround (between Cape Air’s arrival and departure) in Nashville back to Owensboro.”

Ticket prices are unaffected. Prices typically start at $29 each way for all flights, Durbin said.

The new schedule is as follows:
