Gov. Matt Bevin will visit Daviess County on Wednesday for a community forum at Brescia University’s Moore Center. The Governor’s focus is to “discuss economic development and other key initiatives in the Commonwealth,” according to a press release from his office.

According to their post on Facebook, Brescia University “fully embraces the transformative power of education to impact individual lives and the communities in which they live and values the freedom of speech offered to us as a democratic society. Brescia University welcomes all in our community to participate and engage in this process with Governor Bevin.”

The event, to be held in the gymnasium of the Moore Center at 717 Frederica Street, will be at 11 a.m. and is open to the public.
