A traffic alert from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet was issued at 10 p.m. Saturday evening.
KY 142 is blocked in eastern Daviess County due to a natural gas leak.
KY 142 is closed to all traffic just west of the Knottsville community between KY 144 and South Hampton Road.
ATMOS Engergy is working to specifically locate the point of the leak at this time and will immediately start work to make repairs.
Estimated duration is unknown.
The ATMOS Crew on site has indicated they will provide timely notice when the leak is repaired.
