The school refers to this day as Meet in the Meadows, an event that has taken place for the last several years. Third grade teacher Shannon Brown said, “The first day of school can be kind of rough if (students) have those first-day jitters. So this helps us ease those nerves as the kids come back in the doors. I love doing this to get the kids excited about school and build those positive relationships before the beginning.”
