Nick T. Arnold Jewelers has been serving the community for 116 years and will open a second location in Gateway Commons hopefully this year.
The store opened its doors in Downtown Owensboro in 1902 in the Kimball piano store, where the Masonic Temple building now stands.
It is the hope of Jeweler Candy Oakes that the store’s new location in Gateway Commons will be open by Christmas, but she says that the opening will depend on when the construction for the building is completed.
“Gateway Commons is a real push to have big brands and big players that Owensboro wouldn’t normally have,” Oakes said.
Candy says with Nick T. Arnold’s offering national brands like Pandora, Le Vian and ALEX AND ANI, “it only makes sense to take Nick T. Arnold Jewelry to Gateway Commons where people are shopping for national brands.”
