Miss Kentucky, Katie Bouchard, had the interview of a lifetime this week as she conquered one big hurdle standing in the way of her and the Miss America crown. After her interview, Katie said she felt “at peace” and very pleased knowing that the interview “couldn’t have gone any better.”
She felt as if the judges really desired to get to know her as a person and stated that all political questions seemed geared toward her college major of social work.
For Katie, it is a dream come true rehearsing on the Miss America stage. “It gives me chills!” Bouchard said. “I am excited and ready for tonight’s phase of the competition. I will make Owensboro proud!”
