On Sun., Sept. 16, the Owensboro Police Department was dispatched to Milligan’s Lounge at 3136 West 2nd Street on a report of an individual being stabbed. According to OPD, the altercation was the result of an altercation between two subjects, in which one was stabbed several times.
The victim was identified as 59-year-old Eddie Byrd. Byrd was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries where he was treated and released.
