Structure fire on East 21st St.; no injuries

UPDATE: According to Owensboro Fire Department, at 5:31 p.m. on Sept. 22, central dispatch received multiple calls of smoke coming from a home in the 700 block of East 21st St. Units arrived reporting a working fire. The firefight was intense with several operating modes used to control and extinguish the fire to include multiple attacks. The residents were not at home at the time and no firefighter injuries were reported. The Red Cross was on scene to assist the residents, OMU assisted on scene as well. Working the scene was E1, E2, E4, E5, L1, R1, F95, F97, F98, F99, and Yellow Ambulance.

Owensboro Fire Department is on the scene and actively working a structure fire on the 700 block of East 21st St. According to OFD, no injuries were reported. The home is adjacent to Palmer’s Tattoo, located at 2101 Triplett St.
