On Wednesday, Dec. 12 at approximately 6:10 p.m., the Owensboro Police Department responded to a firearm discharge in the 500 Block of Elm Street. Officers located a residence that had been struck several times with gunfire. There was one person inside the residence at the time of the shooting, however he was not injured.
