On Thursday, August 1st, 2019 at approximately 4:18 pm, the Owensboro Police
Department was dispatched to an accident with injuries on West Parrish Avenue
between Bosley Road and Independence Avenue between a motorcycle and a
pickup truck. The operator of the motorcycle, a 42 year old male, died from his
injuries.
West Parrish Avenue will be closed between Bosley Road and Independence
Avenue for an accident reconstruction. Motorists are asked to use an
alternate route to avoid West Parrish Avenue.
