LASHBROOK MEDALIST; OHS, AHS, OCHS COMPETE
Owensboro’s Jack Lashbrook shot a 1-under-par 35 to earn medalist honors, but the Red Devils were narrowly edged by Muhlenberg County for first place at Ben Hawes Golf Course.

The Mustangs shot 164 as a team, while Owensboro was close behind with a 167. Apollo’s 206 was just enough to claim third place ahead of Owensboro Catholic (208).

Other scorers for the Red Devils were Andrew Chancellor (39) and Lucas Lyons (46), while James Rhineburger and Will Hume each shot a 47.

The Eagles were led by Isaac Crabtree with a 47. Tanner Klee and Nathan Payne each posted a 51, while Aiden Watson and Ashton Hope each shot 57.

The Aces’ low round came from Will Fulkerson. Sam Mitchell (52), Noah Johnson (52) and Jacob Warren (55) rounded out the scoring.

HUFF WINS INDIVIDUAL HONORS AS RAIDERS TOP HORNETS
Sophomore Landon Huff posted the low round of the match with a 44, leading Trinity to a 199-218 victory over Hancock County at Windridge Country Club.

Also scoring for the Raiders were Blake McBrayer (47), Hunter O’Bryan (51) and Brady McBrayer (57).
