The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Sandra Mize, 77, from Rumsey, Ky., died Monday after her 2017 Buick Encore crossed the center line and struck a southbound 2018 Ford F–250 head-on in the 6400 block of Frederica St.
Five occupants of the Ford F–50 were transported by AMR to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with non–life threatening injuries.
All subjects involved were wearing seat belts and alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
