The 46th annual Right to Life of Owensboro banquet is  Oct. 17 and will feature keynote speaker board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist Anthony Levantino, a former abortionist who now advocates for life.

Right to Life Executive Director Stacey Davis said this fundraiser helps with the organization’s efforts in educating the community on the anti-abortion issues. Levantino will share his unique perspective about performing abortions and the toll it took on his family.

He was also in the 2019 movie, “Unplanned,” which tells the real-life story of a former Planned Parenthood director who also left the abortion industry and is now anti-abortion.

Senator Matt Castlen will also be speaking and sharing legislative updates as well as why “voting for candidates that support life is the most important issue,” Davis said.

“Our mission is to educate our community on all pro-life issues and the protection of life from the moment of conception until natural death,” Davis said.

The banquet is at the Owensboro Convention Center and doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets for the event are $50 per person or $400 for a table of 8.
