On Tuesday, at approximately 1:40 p.m., the Owensboro Police Department was dispatched to an accident with injuries at New Hartford Road and Burlew Boulevard involving a passenger car and a tow truck. The operator of the passenger car, an 83-year-old female, was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, with life-threatening injuries.
The Owensboro Police Department Accident Reconstruction Unit was called to the scene and is investigating the collision.
