UPDATE October 19th 9:30 a.m – OPD confirms the shooting victim was a male juvenile who suffered injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening at this time.
Owensboro Police Department has confirmed they are investigating a shooting at English Park.
At approximately 6:20 p.m., OPD responded to the 2 Woodford Avenue (English Park) on a report of a shooting. A single victim was located and transported to the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital via ambulance. The extent of injury is unknown at this time.
