Owensboro Police Department have charged an Owensboro woman with assault of a 4-month-old child.
On Sunday, Nov. 24 at approximately 8:45 pm, OPD responded to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital on a
report of suspected child abuse where the child had serious physical injuries.
Meghan J. Bratcher, 32, of Owensboro was charged with first degree assault on Wednesday after investigation revealed she had intentionally engaged in conduct that resulted in serious physical injury to the child.
Bratcher is currently lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
