The Owensboro Museum of Science and History is starting the party early for young ones in the community. Their annual Noon Year’s Eve party is 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
There will be a balloon drop at noon with more than 1,000 ballons. Kids can get their faces painted, make a noisemaker and a party hat.
Museum admission is $5 per person. Children two years & under are admitted free. There is no charge for museum members.
The American Legion will host a party from 8 p.m. to midnight with party favors and champagne at midnight. Admission is $15 a couple, $10 for individuals. The American Legion is located at 736 Frederica Street.
Azucar Lounge will be hosting an event with a roaring 20s theme. The event begins at 8 p.m. with heavy hors d’oeuvres followed by a buffet.
Beyond Blu, a blues band, will be playing along with DJ Aantiik.
The event is $15 for an individual and $20 for a couple, along with a cash bar. There is also a $75 option which includes an open bar.
“This year’s theme goes really well with the history of Owensboro,” said Justin Hagan, general manager. “20’s dress is recommended but not required.”
Hagan said they are currently working with a transportation company to provide safe rides home, something exclusive to Azucar. Azucar Lounge is located at 116 W. 2nd St.
Diamond Lanes is hosting a bowling celebration at their South location – 410 Carlton Dr. from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. The $100 package includes bowling for eight people, shoe rental and party favors. The VIP package, offered at $150 gives bowlers all of the regular package plus a champagne toast for those over 21 years of age, 1 gallon of soft drinks and two 16-inch, two topping pizzas. Lanes can be booked by calling 270-685-2635. Attendees can also dress in 1920 fashion.
Drake’s Owensboro is hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner for two for $39. The price includes an appetizer to share, two entrees, a giant chocolate chip cookie to share and a glass of champagne or non-alcoholic sparkling cider for each.
A live DJ begins at 10 p.m. The two can dine menu begins at 4 p.m.
Drake’s is located at 3050 Highland Pointe Dr.
Eagles Club is hosting a “Great Gatsby-themed party” to welcome the Roaring Twenties. Attendees may dress as a flapper, a gangster or a silent screen star.
Exit 4, a classic rock cover band from Nashville, will be playing starting at 9 p.m.
There will be drink specials and all guests are asked to bring an hors d’oeuvres. Cost is $5 for members, $10 for non-members. The Fraternal Orders of Eagles Club is located at 1731 W. Parrish Ave.
The 7th Annual One Time Only Goldie’s New Year’s Eve Show held at the RIverPark Center will include country and gospel music and also a Rock-n-Roll spectacular. Jon Brennan, Katie Herron, Travis and Tara Estes, Tate Brothers, Scott Davis and Terry Lee are included in the lineup of performers.
The show begins at 8 p.m. and is followed by a midnight breakfast catered by Moonlite.
Tickets range from $23.50-$29 for adults and $13.50-$18.50 for children ages 3 to 12. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the RiverPark Center at 270-687-2770. RiverPark Center is located at 101 Daviess St.
Milligan’s Bar has Reverend Jack playing for the night. There aren’t ticket sales to the event, but there is a $10 cover. The show starts at 9 p.m. Milligan’s Bar is located at 3136 W. 2nd St.
Owensboro Country Club is hosting a “Roaring into the 20s” bash that will include fireworks, champagne, DJ and photo booth.
Cocktail hour begins at 7 p.m. followed by dinner at 8 p.m. The menu includes a salad station, pasta station, seafood station and steak house station along with miniature dessert selections.
A member and cash bar will be available. Guests are asked to wear cocktail or roaring 20s attire.
Cost is $75 per person before Dec. 23 and $95 per person after Dec. 23. Guests may come with members.

Owensboro Convention Center will hold its 6th annual New Year’s Eve Party with DJ Shay playing dance and party mix favorites. Themed drinks and concessions will be available. Attendees will ring in the new year with a complimentary champagne toast.
“Last year we had to move the party downstairs to our Exhibit Hall to allow for more space, more seating and more bars,” said Spectra’s Laura Alexander, General Manager. “We expect another great crowd with DJ Shay as she has a huge local following who loves to see her perform!”
Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and DJ Shay starts at 9 p.m.
Individual tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Reserved tables of 4 are $100. Reserved tables of 10 are $250. Please note the event is for ages 21 and over only.

O.Z. Tyler Distillery’s New Year’s Eve party will feature live music and entertainment all night with Josh Merritt and Elliot Sublett, The V-Bombs, Andy Brasher Band and Insulated.
Doors open at 7 p.m. for the all-evening celebration.
There are two ticket options — VIP tickets are $110 each and include designated table seating with up to 8 guests at each, an open bar featuring craft cocktails, beer, champagne and VIP-only bar access, a catered buffet dinner and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
General admission tickets are $25 each and include a cash bar, first come, first served table seating and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
Dream Copy Photography will be at the party capturing candid photos.
Nicole Ebelhar, manager of visitor experience at O.Z. Tyler said the event is for drinking-aged adults and guests are asked to “dress to impress” with men wearing suits or jackets and dresses for the ladies.

St. Alphonsus Parish will host a party from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. with Songbird Entertainment providing music for the event. Attendees are asked to bring an appetizer.
Dress code is casual to dressy.

Ten.0.Six is hosting a party with Blackford Creek Band. There will be drink specials and a champagne toast with a countdown to midnight.
Advanced tickets can be purchased for $10 each at the bar or $15 at the door. There are limited tickets available.
Ten.0.Six is located at 1006 East 4th St.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) New Year’s Eve party begins at 7 p.m. and will include a champagne toast at midnight and party hats. Guests are asked to bring their own snacks.
The cost is $15 per person or $25 per couple and the dress is casual.
Beginner’s Luck Band will be playing dance music throughout the night.
The VFW Post 696 is located at 311 W. Veterans Blvd.
Windridge Country Club is hosting a gala and will feature The Rubbing Alcoholics.
Doors open at 7:30 and the club will serve hors d’oeuvres through the evening and a champagne toast at midnight.
Tickets are $40 per person and a limited number is available at the club, located at 5044 Millers Mill Rd.
