Brescia, KWC, OCTC to host student ministries event

Owensboro Community & Technical College’s (OCTC) Cornerstone Campus Ministry, along with the student ministries from Kentucky Wesleyan College and Brescia University, will be holding the Endeavor 2020 Vision workshop on Jan. 25. The goal of the workshop is to engage, equip, empower and encourage college students from every Owensboro campus to boldly live out their faith.

Lunch will be provided, and participants will be given a free T-shirt. The event will also include giveaways and door prizes. Attendance is limited to 75.

Josh Ellers of Pleasant Valley Community Church and Shawn Tomes from Kentucky Wesleyan College are featured keynote speakers. Breakout sessions will include Chelsea Atherton, East Hartford Baptist Church; Jordan Wilson, Friends of Sinners; and Meredith Skaggs, OCTC.

Endeavor 2020 Vision will take place on OCTC’s Main Campus in the Industry Innovation Center lobby. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. and the conference runs from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Closest access for attendees is by entering campus through the New Hartford Road entrance (across from WKU-O and Deer Park Elementary) and park in either lot (P5 or P4) on the right or left.
