More than 30 Owensboro High School students will attend the Hamilton in Education program in Nashville Thursday and as part of their trip, one student, Ashton Baxter was chosen to perform her spoken word poem on the Boston Tea Party on the Hamilton stage.
Her poem was also submitted as part of the Hamilton in Education program to possibly win a chance to perform on the Broadway stage and see the show in New York City. If she is chosen, she will receive an all-expense-paid trip to NYC for this opportunity.
