Graduations across the country are being canceled or postponed due to COVID-19 and while Kentucky Wesleyan College students will have to wait to walk the line, a virtual ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.

KWC officials posted on the college’s website, “We are deeply disappointed for our students that the COVID-19 situation has necessitated drastic measures, and especially for our seniors and their families who have anticipated the joyous commencement ceremony.”

An in-person celebration is planned for Sept. 25 in a dual ceremony together with the Inauguration of President Thomas Mitzel during Homecoming.
