Several roads in Owensboro will be closed throughout the week for repairs and maintenance.
Beginning Monday, Burlew Boulevard will be closed between Peppertree Lane and Parkway Drive for a sanitary sewer installation. This closure is expected to last through May 11.
Beginning Tuesday, Fifth Street will be closed between Sycamore Street and Poplar Street for a gas main installation. This closure is expected to last through Friday.
Beginning Thursday, the eastbound lane of Ford Avenue will be closed between Locust Street and Frederica Street for street repair. This closure is expected to last through Friday.
Local traffic will be allowed to pass at each closure. Closure dates are pending no delays or inclement weather. Detours will be appropriately marked. Use caution and attention while driving in the areas.
