Mattingly declares Monday ‘Day of Mourning’ in Daviess County

Judge-Executive Al Mattingly declared Monday as a Day of Mourning in Daviess County.

A media release from Daviess County Fiscal Court stated, “As a people we have borne this pandemic’s cost in the lives of over 100,000 people. We shall honor and mourn them together, and I call on all people in Daviess County to take a moment of silence and remember those Daviess Countians, those Kentuckians and those citizens who has passed away due to COVID-19.”
