Starting Friday, Owensboro’s Malco Cinema Grill will only be open on the weekends through the end of July.
Due to the recent date changes for new movies, Malco Theatres announced Tuesday afternoon that select locations — including Owensboro — would only be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday through July.
The company said the plan is for all theatres to be fully operational in August. All Malco locations closed in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Upcoming releases include Unhinged (July 31), The Broken Hearts Gallery (Aug. 7), TENET (Aug. 12), Mulan (Aug. 21) and Antebellum (Aug. 21).
