UPDATE (9:28 p.m.) — A crash on I-165 in Ohio County near KY 1414 has pushed traffic down to one lane in each direction at MP 52.8. Motorists traveling southbound out of Owensboro are advised to use U.S. 231.
The lane restriction is expected to last another 1.5-2 hours.

A crash on I-165 in Ohio County near KY 1414 has traffic blocked in both directions at mile marker 52 due to a semi versus pickup fatality. Two helicopters are en route to pick up two people who are injured.
Trooper Corey King, public affairs officer for the Kentucky State Police tweeted, “Troopers will be closing down the I-165 on-ramp at the US 60 Bypass in Daviess Co. One Northbound lane has opened. Southbound will be closed for approximately 2 hours. SB traffic: Use US231 to Hartford/Beaver Dam.”
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes. The estimated duration of this crash is two hours.
