A total of 19 more cases of COVID-19 and 12 recoveries from the virus were confirmed Monday for the Green River District. The numbers reflect a two-day reporting period.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (9), Henderson (6), McLean (1), Ohio (2), Union (1)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (8), Henderson (1), Ohio (3)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 2,009
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 1,697 (84%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 16
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 172 (9%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 24
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 921 cases, 772 recovered, 10 current hospitalizations, 74 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Hancock County – 50 cases, 46 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 4 ever hospitalized
- Henderson County – 411 cases, 335 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 42 ever hospitalized, 4 deaths
- McLean County – 54 cases, 46 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 6 ever hospitalized, 1 death
- Ohio County – 394 cases, 345 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 28 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Union County – 79 cases, 64 recovered, 2 current hospitalization, 5 ever hospitalized
- Webster County – 100 cases, 89 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 13 ever hospitalized, 1 death

- Age range: 7 months-95 years old
- Average age: 42
- Male: 48.9%
- Female: 51.1%

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
