An Owensboro man was charged with felony assault Friday after allegedly stabbing another man multiple times, leading to what Owensboro Police Department believes may be life-threatening injuries.
Tyler Miller, 27, of Owensboro was charged with first-degree assault for the stabbing of another Owensboro man.
The incident occurred Friday at approximately 8:57 p.m. in the 400 block of West Legion Blvd.
According to a press release from OPD, the victim, Kyle Taylor, 27, of Owensboro, left the scene in a vehicle and was located in the 1300 block of Bowie Trail.
“He had multiple stab wounds that are believed to be potentially life threatening,” OPD said in the release.
Taylor was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment by EMS.
Detectives responded to investigate and charged Miller with assault. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information can call OPD at 270-687-8888 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270-687-8484.
