A plot of land located next to Plasma Biological Services is currently being converted into a parking lot, as Crandall Properties has already begun developing the land to include 60 additional spaces.

According to Crandall Properties owner Ken Crandall, the “triple-side parking lot” is being built to accommodate the needs of Plasma Biological Services, located at 2820 Frederica St. Currently, the business has an attached parking lot that fits about 20 cars.

“It will be a typical parking lot that’s landscaped in,” Crandall said of the development.

From start to finish, the project is expected to take 60 days to complete.

Crandall said his growing business was proud of the work they’d done in recent months. One of those highlights was the company’s recent acquirement for The Crowne property in downtown Owensboro, which is currently for sale or lease.

“That building is a very beautiful part of Owensboro’s history,” he said.
