3 Owensboro men facing charges related to alleged drug trafficking

Three Owensboro men were recently arrested and are facing numerous charges related to an alleged drug trafficking operation involving fentanyl and marijuana as well as a stolen firearm, according to the Owensboro Police Department.

Johnathan T. Brown (19), Kadyn E. Davidson (20) and Jonathan D. Stallings (20) are each facing the following charges relating to the incident: aggravated trafficking in a controlled substance (10 or more grams carfentanil or fentanyl derivate) (enhancement); trafficking in marijuana (8 oz to less than 5 lbs) 1st offense (enhancement); drug paraphernalia – buy or possess (enhancement);  and receiving stolen property – firearm (enhancement).  

According to a release, on Oct. 9 officers and detectives from the OPD Flex Unit and Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant in the 2600 block of Windsor Avenue where a large quantity of counterfeit Xanax and Percocet pills, one stolen firearm, and five additional firearms were located. 

According to reports, there was also a large quantity of THC butter/wax, numerous items of drug  paraphernalia, and a large amount of currency seized, which is all indicative of an ongoing drug trafficking operation. 

Flex Unit Officers along with Street Crimes Unit Detectives continue to investigate cases believed to be related to these arrests.
