Approximately 35 acres separated into four connected tracts on the east side of Owensboro is up for auction at 4:30 p.m. today.
According to David Hawes, auctioneer with Kurtz Auction, this sale provides the rare opportunity to invest in large executive/estate building tracts close to nearly everything in Owensboro.
He said the land could be used for anything from a large residential home to a small development project.
Hawes said while the land is close to Owensboro Community & Technical College, Daviess County High School, College View Middle and Deer Park Elementary Schools, shopping, restaurants, and the U.S. 60-U.S. 231 interchange, it still has the feel of country living.
“These tracts would be great for individuals wanting to build a stately country residence or for residential development,” he said. “Seldom does a property become available with these extraordinary features, all selling regardless of price.”
Portions of this land is in the floodway or flood zone.
