A total of 75 more cases of COVID-19 and 61 new recoveries were confirmed Friday for the Green River District. Three more coronavirus-related deaths each were reported in Daviess and Henderson counties.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (23), Henderson (23), McLean (2), Ohio (4), Union (6), Webster (17)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (28), Hancock (2), Henderson (20), Ohio (2), Union (7), Webster (2)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 3,973
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 3,114 (78%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 27
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 293 (7%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 52
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 1,622 cases, 1,335 recovered, 6 current hospitalizations, 112 ever hospitalized, 22 deaths
- Hancock County – 91 cases, 72 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 7 ever hospitalized
- Henderson County – 1,001 cases, 705 recovered, 12 current hospitalizations, 77 ever hospitalized, 14 deaths
- McLean County – 102 cases, 80 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 11 ever hospitalized, 1 death
- Ohio County – 522 cases, 445 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 35 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Union County – 401 cases, 323 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 30 ever hospitalized, 3 deaths
- Webster County – 234 cases, 154 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 21 ever hospitalized, 3 deaths
Demographics (not all demographic information is available because of incomplete reporting from a testing site):
- Age range: 1 month-100 years old
- Average age: 45
- Male: 45.6%
- Female: 54.4%

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
