A total of 77 more cases of COVID-19 and 85 recoveries were confirmed Monday for the Green River District. The numbers reflect a two-day period.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (24), Hancock (13), Henderson (14), McLean (16), Ohio (10), Union (1), Webster (7)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (20), Hancock (1), Henderson (30), McLean (6), Ohio (10), Union (11), Webster (7)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 4,930
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 4,100 (83%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 30
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 356 (7%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 85
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 1,913 cases, 1,660 recovered, 9 current hospitalizations, 135 ever hospitalized, 29 deaths
- Hancock County – 135 cases, 96 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 8 ever hospitalized, 2 deaths
- Henderson County – 1,273 cases, 1,008 recovered, 7 current hospitalizations, 99 ever hospitalized, 31 deaths
- McLean County – 198 cases, 119 recovered, 3 current hospitalization2, 15 ever hospitalized, 3 deaths
- Ohio County – 609 cases, 532 recovered, 5 current hospitalizations, 42 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Union County – 502 cases, 436 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 34 ever hospitalized, 6 deaths
- Webster County – 300 cases, 249 recovered, 3 current hospitalization, 23 ever hospitalized, 5 deaths
Demographics (not all demographic information is available because of incomplete reporting from a testing site):
- Age range: 1 month-100 years old
- Average age: 45
- Male: 45.1%
- Female: 54.9%

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
