The Owensboro Police Department is searching for additional information regarding a firearm discharge that occurred Sunday afternoon.
According to officials, at approximately 4:20 p.m. OPD responded to the 2200 block of W. 8th Street for a firearm discharge. An occupied residence was struck one time by gunfire and an unoccupied vehicle was also struck. No injuries were reported.
Detectives are continuing to investigate and anyone with additional information can call OPD at 270-687-8888, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270-687-8484.
