A total of 100 more cases of COVID-19 and 71 recoveries were confirmed Monday for the Green River District. The numbers reflect a two-day period.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (42), Hancock (3), Henderson (27), McLean (3), Ohio (10), Union (4), Webster (11)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (31), Hancock (2), Henderson (18), McLean (7), Ohio (4), Union (6), Webster (3)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 5,369
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 4,456 (83%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 30
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 380 (7%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 96
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 2,079 cases, 1,778 recovered, 10 current hospitalizations, 142 ever hospitalized, 32 deaths
- Hancock County – 160 cases, 106 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 9 ever hospitalized, 3 deaths
- Henderson County – 1,382 cases, 1,114 recovered, 7 current hospitalizations, 105 ever hospitalized, 36 deaths
- McLean County – 231 cases, 158 recovered, 6 current hospitalizations, 19 ever hospitalized, 4 deaths
- Ohio County – 652 cases, 559 recovered, 3 current hospitalizations, 46 ever hospitalized, 10 deaths
- Union County – 526 cases, 469 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 35 ever hospitalized, 6 deaths
- Webster County – 339 cases, 272 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 24 ever hospitalized, 5 deaths

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
