A total of 69 more cases of COVID-19 and 23 recoveries were confirmed Friday for the Green River District. Coronavirus-related deaths were also reported in Hancock (1) and McLean (1) counties.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (27), Hancock (4), Henderson (21), McLean (1), Union (5), Webster (11)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (7), Hancock (3), Henderson (7), McLean (1), Ohio (2), Webster (3)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 5,718
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 4,625 (81%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 29
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 397 (7%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 103
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 2,227 cases, 1,846 recovered, 10 current hospitalizations, 149 ever hospitalized, 32 deaths
- Hancock County – 174 cases, 117 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 10 ever hospitalized, 6 deaths
- Henderson County – 1,476 cases, 1,156 recovered, 6 current hospitalizations, 108 ever hospitalized, 36 deaths
- McLean County – 255 cases, 171 recovered, 6 current hospitalizations, 20 ever hospitalized, 7 deaths
- Ohio County – 671 cases, 574 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 49 ever hospitalized, 11 deaths
- Union County – 544 cases, 476 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 35 ever hospitalized, 6 deaths
- Webster County – 371 cases, 285 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 26 ever hospitalized, 5 deaths

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
