A total of 144 more cases of COVID-19 and 205 recoveries were announced Saturday for the Green River District, including 68 cases and 121 recoveries in Daviess County.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (68), Hancock (8), Henderson (35), McLean (6), Ohio (9), Union (10), Webster (8)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (121), Hancock (3), Henderson (33), McLean (9), Ohio (23), Union (9), Webster (7)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 11,330
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 8,540 (75%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 51
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 589 (5%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 203
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 4,982 cases, 3,641 recovered, 19 current hospitalizations, 213 ever hospitalized, 76 deaths
- Hancock County – 374 cases, 282 recovered, 3 current hospitalizations, 19 ever hospitalized, 12 deaths
- Henderson County – 2,594 cases, 1,974 recovered, 11 current hospitalizations, 155 ever hospitalized, 47 deaths
- McLean County – 491 cases, 375 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 37 ever hospitalized, 21 deaths
- Ohio County – 1,382 cases, 1,064 recovered, 8 current hospitalizations, 84 ever hospitalized, 27 deaths
- Union County – 847 cases, 691 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 43 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Webster County – 660 cases, 513 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 38 ever hospitalized, 11 deaths

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
