A total of 162 more cases of COVID-19 and 143 recoveries were announced Thursday for the Green River District, including 91 cases and 68 recoveries in Daviess County. There will be no updates from the Health Department Friday through Sunday; they will resume Monday.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (91), Hancock (4), Henderson (24), McLean (8), Ohio (15), Union (4), Webster (16)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (68), Hancock (5), Henderson (31), McLean (10), Ohio (17), Union (7), Webster (5)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 11,985
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 8,881 (74%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 42
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 627 (5%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 215
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 5,328 cases, 3,798 recovered, 29 current hospitalizations, 244 ever hospitalized, 82 deaths
- Hancock County – 392 cases, 292 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 19 ever hospitalized, 12 deaths
- Henderson County – 2,731 cases, 2,043 recovered, 7 current hospitalizations, 158 ever hospitalized, 48 deaths
- McLean County – 519 cases, 400 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 37 ever hospitalized, 21 deaths
- Ohio County – 1,433 cases, 1,106 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 85 ever hospitalized, 30 deaths
- Union County – 886 cases, 709 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 45 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Webster County – 696 cases, 533 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 39 ever hospitalized, 13 deaths

- Age range: 1 month-102 years old
- Average age: 45
- Male: 45.1%
- Female: 54.9%

- 80+ — 737 cases
The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
