A total of 198 more cases of COVID-19 and 93 recoveries were announced Friday for the Green River District, including 119 cases and 43 recoveries in Daviess County.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (119), Hancock (4), Henderson (27), McLean (7), Ohio (30), Union (2), Webster (9)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (43), Hancock (3), Henderson (23), McLean (1), Ohio (12), Union (6), Webster (5)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 9,144
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 6,925 (76%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 55
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 540 (6%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 158
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 3,799 cases, 2,814 recovered, 16 current hospitalizations, 196 ever hospitalized, 53 deaths
- Hancock County – 312 cases, 241 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 18 ever hospitalized, 11 deaths
- Henderson County – 2,179 cases, 1,659 recovered, 13 current hospitalizations, 141 ever hospitalized, 41 deaths
- McLean County – 410 cases, 320 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 34 ever hospitalized, 20 deaths
- Ohio County – 1,142 cases, 797 recovered, 12 current hospitalizations, 75 ever hospitalized, 17 deaths
- Union County – 730 cases, 638 recovered, 1 current hospitalizations, 39 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Webster County – 572 cases, 456 recovered, 7 current hospitalizations, 37 ever hospitalized, 7 deaths

- Average age: 45
- Male: 45%
- Female: 55%

- 80+ — 576 cases
The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
