A total of 185 more cases of COVID-19 and 60 recoveries were announced Wednesday for the Green River District, including 96 cases and 23 recoveries in Daviess County. Coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Henderson (1) and Union (1) counties.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (96), Hancock (3), Henderson (43), McLean (8), Ohio (15), Union (6), Webster (14)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (23), Hancock (5), Henderson (6), McLean (9), Ohio (10), Union (3), Webster (4)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 8,718
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 6,728 (78%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 45
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 523 (6%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 156
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 3,602 cases, 2,719 recovered, 13 current hospitalizations, 190 ever hospitalized, 53 deaths
- Hancock County – 301 cases, 234 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 17 ever hospitalized, 11 deaths
- Henderson County – 2,110 cases, 1,620 recovered, 7 current hospitalizations, 135 ever hospitalized, 41 deaths
- McLean County – 398 cases, 312 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 31 ever hospitalized, 20 deaths
- Ohio County – 1,033 cases, 770 recovered, 13 current hospitalizations, 74 ever hospitalized, 17 deaths
- Union County – 722 cases, 624 recovered, 1 current hospitalizations, 39 ever hospitalized, 7 deaths
- Webster County – 552 cases, 449 recovered, 7 current hospitalizations, 37 ever hospitalized, 7 deaths

- Average age: 45
- Male: 44.9%
- Female: 55.1%

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
