A total of 153 more cases of COVID-19 and 180 recoveries were announced Wednesday for the Green River District, including 74 cases and 95 recoveries in Daviess County. Coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Daviess County (2) and McLean (1) counties.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (74), Hancock (13), Henderson (25), McLean (4), Ohio (17), Union (7), Webster (13)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (95), Hancock (5), Henderson (35), McLean (6), Ohio (19), Union (14), Webster (6)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 12,563
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 9,544 (76%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 43
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 637 (5%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 224
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 5,603 cases, 4,217 recovered, 30 current hospitalizations, 248 ever hospitalized, 90 deaths
- Hancock County – 428 cases, 309 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 19 ever hospitalized, 12 deaths
- Henderson County – 2,876 cases, 2,147 recovered, 6 current hospitalizations, 160 ever hospitalized, 48 deaths
- McLean County – 533 cases, 416 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 37 ever hospitalized, 22 deaths
- Ohio County – 1,486 cases, 1,157 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 87 ever hospitalized, 30 deaths
- Union County – 909 cases, 746 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 45 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Webster County – 728 cases, 552 recovered, 2 current hospitalization, 41 ever hospitalized, 13 deaths

- Male: 45.1%
- Female: 54.9%

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
