A total of 187 more cases of COVID-19 and 106 recoveries were announced Thursday for the Green River District, including 103 cases and 51 recoveries in Daviess County. Coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Daviess (4) and Ohio (2) counties.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (103), Hancock (2), Henderson (26), McLean (8), Ohio (30), Union (12), Webster (6)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (51), Hancock (7), Henderson (22), McLean (4), Ohio (12), Union (4), Webster (6)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 9,981
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 7,416 (74%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 43
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 555(6%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 186
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 4,219 cases, 3,047 recovered, 14 current hospitalizations, 203 ever hospitalized, 69 deaths
- Hancock County – 333 cases, 259 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 18 ever hospitalized, 12 deaths
- Henderson County – 2,349 cases, 1,777 recovered, 9 current hospitalizations, 143 ever hospitalized, 43 deaths
- McLean County – 443 cases, 341 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 34 ever hospitalized, 21 deaths
- Ohio County – 1,258 cases, 867 recovered, 11 current hospitalizations, 81 ever hospitalized, 23 deaths
- Union County – 773 cases, 653 recovered, 1 current hospitalizations, 39 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Webster County – 606 cases, 472 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 37 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
