A total of 200 more cases of COVID-19 and 160 recoveries were announced Wednesday for the Green River District, including 113 cases and 75 recoveries in Daviess County. Coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Daviess (6) and Henderson (1) counties.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (113), Hancock (7), Henderson (36), McLean (12), Ohio (9), Union (11), Webster (12)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (75), Hancock (4), Henderson (31), McLean (13), Ohio (17), Union (8), Webster (12)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 11,823
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 8,738 (74%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 41
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 626 (5%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 215
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 5,237 cases, 3,730 recovered, 28 current hospitalizations, 243 ever hospitalized, 82 deaths
- Hancock County – 388 cases, 287 recovered, 1 current hospitalizations, 19 ever hospitalized, 12 deaths
- Henderson County – 2,707 cases, 2,012 recovered, 7 current hospitalizations, 158 ever hospitalized, 48 deaths
- McLean County – 511 cases, 390 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 37 ever hospitalized, 21 deaths
- Ohio County – 1,418 cases, 1,089 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 85 ever hospitalized, 30 deaths
- Union County – 882 cases, 702 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 45 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Webster County – 680 cases, 528 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 39 ever hospitalized, 13 deaths

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
