A total of 73 more cases of COVID-19 and 100 recoveries were announced Monday for the Green River District, including 30 cases and 48 recoveries in Daviess County. The numbers reflect a two-day reporting period.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (30), Henderson (22), McLean (5), Ohio (4), Union (10), Webster (2)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (48), Hancock (1), Henderson (22), McLean (4), Ohio (17), Union (4), Webster (4)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 10,367
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 7,783 (75%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 47
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 570 (5%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 195
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 4,419 cases, 3,235 recovered, 14 current hospitalizations, 204 ever hospitalized, 71 deaths
- Hancock County – 343 cases, 266 recovered, 3 current hospitalizations, 19 ever hospitalized, 12 deaths
- Henderson County – 2,425 cases, 1,857 recovered, 8 current hospitalizations, 150 ever hospitalized, 47 deaths
- McLean County – 465 cases, 354 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 37 ever hospitalized, 21 deaths
- Ohio County – 1,303 cases, 922 recovered, 12 current hospitalizations, 83 ever hospitalized, 24 deaths
- Union County – 792 cases, 664 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 40 ever hospitalized, 10 deaths
- Webster County – 620 cases, 485 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 37 ever hospitalized, 10 deaths

- Average age: 45
- Male: 45%
- Female: 55%

- 80+ — 665 cases
The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
