A total of 90 more cases of COVID-19 and 1 recovery were announced Monday for the Green River District, including 33 cases in Daviess County. The numbers reflect a two-day period.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (33), Hancock (1), Henderson (35), McLean (4), Ohio (1), Union (12), Webster (4)
- New recoveries by county: Hancock (1)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 11,420
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 8,541 (75%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 50
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 589 (5%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 203
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 5,015 cases, 3,641 recovered, 19 current hospitalizations, 213 ever hospitalized, 76 deaths
- Hancock County – 375 cases, 283 recovered, 3 current hospitalizations, 19 ever hospitalized, 12 deaths
- Henderson County – 2,629 cases, 1,974 recovered, 11 current hospitalizations, 155 ever hospitalized, 47 deaths
- McLean County – 495 cases, 375 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 37 ever hospitalized, 21 deaths
- Ohio County – 1,383 cases, 1,064 recovered, 8 current hospitalizations, 84 ever hospitalized, 27 deaths
- Union County – 859 cases, 691 recovered, 1 current hospitalizations, 43 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Webster County – 664 cases, 513 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 38 ever hospitalized, 11 deaths

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
